Oh, I’m so excited! One of my absolute favorite brands, Room 1015, has launched a new fragrance: Kokoa Bang! Even the name sounds promising—though we’ve come to expect nothing less from this French brand. Catchy, snappy fragrance names, extraordinary compositions, and wonderfully unconventional storytelling—Room 1015 rocks!

Kokoa Bang – A Neo-Gourmand to Fall in Love With
The story behind Kokoa Bang began in a café. There, amid delicious desserts, exquisite pastries, and the alluring aroma of freshly brewed coffee, a conversation unfolded that must have been incredibly inspiring. Brand founder Michael Partouche, also known as Dr. Mike, and perfumer Jérôme di Marino drew inspiration from the aromas, the sweet treats, and the cheerful atmosphere.
The impressions from this delightful gathering ultimately gave rise to the idea for Kokoa Bang. A fragrance designed not only to evoke the enticing scents of these treats, but above all to capture the special mood of that moment: the joy of indulgence, the lightheartedness of the moment, and the convivial, carefree atmosphere of a visit to a café.
Top notes: Champagne, pear, lemon
Middle notes: Magnolia, cocoa, lily of the valley
Base notes: Myrrh, vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin resin
In the opening notes of Kokoa Bang, sparkling, tart champagne meets the juicy sweetness of a ripe, vanilla-scented pear, soon accompanied by the caressing, comforting notes of dark cocoa. How wonderful! Gentle, airy floral notes introduce creamy, light nuances, lending the creation transparency and lightness, while the roasted, powdery-dry cocoa notes continue to gain momentum. The blend of fruity, gourmand, and effervescent facets unfolds in a wonderfully harmonious way, revealing a pleasant warmth and smoothness. Always finely balanced and with a moderate presence, Kokoa Bang feels enveloping, cozy, and incredibly delicious. Gradually, the composition grows warmer and glides gently into the base with spicy, smooth, vanilla-sweet notes.
Kokoa Bang is another amazing fragrance from Room 1015 that I—as I think you can tell—absolutely love. The inspiration of a visit to a café has been wonderfully brought to life. The champagne has a crisp, tangy fizz, the cocoa shows off its finest side, and the pear has strong Hélène-like notes to me. All together, it creates a fragrance that fits perfectly with the current season. A neo-gourmand that this fall and winter absolutely needed! I highly recommend giving it a try—Kokoa Bang is definitely a must-try.
