The young label equality.fragrances launched a new eau de parfum, a child’s mind, at the end of last year. The brand is now represented by four fragrances at Aus Liebe zum Duft and is growing steadily. All equality.fragrances creations are carefully thought out, have a deeper, meaningful significance and are designed to inspire people to reflect. Lukas Görlitz’s fragrance house, with whom I had the pleasure of conducting an interview almost exactly three years ago, also tackles difficult and controversial topics and wants to do good.
For example, equality.fragrances supports an international human rights organization in the fight against the sexual exploitation of children on the internet and regularly draws attention to social grievances and injustices. The name already contains Lukas Görlitz’s wish: equality, equal rights and equal value are just as important to him as tolerance, openness and humanity. a child’s mind – Olfactory soul opener
With its fourth creation, a child’s mind, equality.fragrances dedicates itself to children. Looking at the world with childlike curiosity and openness is a gift that far too many adults have lost. Taking your time, letting your hair down, just sitting and dreaming or running around wildly, playing, letting your imagination flow and doing whatever you feel like … wouldn’t that be nice?
However, even children are deprived of this freedom and light-heartedness far too early, as the tight structures of adults’ everyday and professional lives are indirectly transferred to children. And yet perhaps we can or should simply lean back more often and try to bring out our inner child again. equality.fragrances wants to help us with its eau de parfum, which combines the ingredients cypress, laurel, coriander, frankincense, saffron, myrrh, vanilla, cashmeran, labdanum (cistus) and patchouli.

On a child’s journey of discovery
The fragrance notes mentioned above already make it clear that a child’s mind is not a creation inspired by sweets or other treats, even if this could certainly be associated with a fragrance inspired by children and their imagination. No, equality.fragrances gives us an earthy, spicy and comforting composition that fits into the collection in an extremely harmonious way.
The aromatic-spicy and greenish-fresh notes of cypress and laurel meet finely smoky incense, which is accompanied by deep, dark saffron. Myrrh lends the creation resinous, sweet and warm accents that blend beautifully into the olfactory quartet and evoke a very harmonious, balanced and meditative fragrance. Splendid!
