The Reinvented Parfums collection – Epiphany and Eureka

Reinvented Parfums is another brand that has not been available in the Aus Liebe zum Duft store for very long. The label’s collection consists of five eaux de parfum with the illustrious names Epiphany, Eureka, Illusion, Sacred Bond and Pheromones. You don’t find out much about the brand itself online, which I always find a bit of a pity. After all, what could be more exciting than a good story behind a label? So in this article I inevitably have to focus on the five creations, which are actually exactly what we are interested in.

Reinvented Parfums

Reinvented is an invitation to look beyond the tangible, a journey of discovery into a constantly changing and boundless world in which the visible and the invisible, the possible and the impossible, the ephemeral and the eternal confront each other in a fascinating alchemy.

There is also little tangible information on the homepage. The perfumer Douglas Morel is pictured, which is why I assume that he was involved in one or two of the brand’s creations. Cristian Calabrò is also said to have worked for Reinvented Parfums, although this is not shown in the official press material. If I get any further information, I will of course be happy to pass it on to you.

Epiphany – fragrant revelation

I would like to start today with Epiphany. The bottles are all in the same style. Black glass with matt black label. The lid and lettering are in contrasting colours and are beige – as with Epiphany -, green, pink, blue and purple. The marbled, spherical lids remind me personally a little of planets.

The Eau de Parfum Epiphany combines the ingredients lime, bergamot, saffron, rose, ylang-ylang, iris, cardamom, black pepper, benzoin resin, birch, licorice, patchouli, incense, cedarwood and musk.

Reinvented Parfums - Epiphany

Epiphany starts with a citrusy, fresh and tart fragrance, soon accompanied by soft, soapy and lucid rose and lovely ylang-ylang. The iris brings delicate earthy and creamy accents to the composition, delicately underpinned by dry peppery notes, while the woods slowly come into position, carrying bright, clean and coniferous aspects. A hint of incense provides a smoky coolness, which gradually blends with a delicate licorice sweetness. Epiphany is a transparent and beautifully composed eau de parfum that is surprisingly fresh, woody and soapy. Perfect for every occasion.

Eureka – Reinvented Parfums

Eureka takes us back to antiquity by name, as this saying is attributed to the mathematician Archimedes, at least according to Plutarch. Naked and wet, Archimedes is said to have run through the streets shouting “Eureka“, which means “I have found it”. In a full bathtub, he had a flash of inspiration that is commonly known as Archimedes’ principle.

Reinvented Parfums translates this inspiration olfactorily with the fragrance notes bergamot, coffee, violet leaves, jasmine, black pepper, nutmeg, cardamom, styrax resin, patchouli, tolu balsam and sandalwood.

Reinvented Parfums - Eureka

In the opening of Eureka, bergamot tartness meets delicious roasted coffee, creamy jasmine and gentle spices, which blend incredibly harmoniously into the composition. The eau de parfum is very warm, spicy and oriental, with balsamic resins and soft woods providing a wonderfully creamy and velvety sweetness as it progresses. Eureka is a fragrance for connoisseurs, a creation that fits perfectly into the current season. Warming, enveloping, tender, profound, with a medium presence and blessed with good longevity. For fans of spicy-oriental fragrances and coffee nuances. I Like! 👍
