Pitti Fragranze – Hard Facts 6

Diese Woche werde ich die Pitti-Berichterstattung abschließen – heute und morgen geht es noch um die vielen Neuheiten, am Freitag folgt eine Zusammenfassung mit den Highlights. Ich hoffe nur, mein Hang zum Perfektionismus wird mir nicht zum Verhängnis, es gibt nämlich noch eine ganze Reihe an Neuigkeiten, nicht, dass ich Wichtiges vergesse …

Zuallererst eine kleine Korrektur – Ihr seht, da fängt es schon an mit dem Vergessen 😉 Neela Vermeire hatte einen neuen Duft mit im Gepäck, Rahele genannt, ich weiß nicht, wie ich anderes behaupten konnte 😉 Duchaufour ist wie immer die Nase, und es war ein bildschöner und strahlender Osmanthus. Die Ingredienzen beinhalten außerdem ein paar Hölzchen und Gewürze, indische, noch mehr Blumiges, Leder (klar, der Osmanthus) und Eichenmoos. Ich bin gespannt, ob es ein moderner Chypre ist – daran kann ich mich nämlich nicht mehr entsinnen, ich hatte ihn wirklich nur ganz kurz unter der Nase.

Unscent, die Präsentation der Marken des italienischen Vertriebs Intertrade, die Ihr eventuell bereits von den Mailänder Berichterstattungen von der Esxence kennt, war auch hier vertreten – wie immer mit Ausstellungscharakter und in separaten Räumen innerhalb der Stazione Leopolda.

Ich habe mich nur kurz in der überaus hübsch gestalteten Unscent herumgetrieben, da wir nicht alle der Labels führen. Deshalb verweise ich an dieser Stelle auf den gut recherchierten Artikel bei Fragrantica, den toll bebilderten. Auch bei Persefume lässt sich einiges nachlesen – seht hier.

In Kürze – die Neuen:

• Agonist – White Lies (Nomen est Omen – Weißblüher-Femme Fatale)
• A Lab on Fire – Messy Sexy Just Roll Out Of Bed (hihii – entstanden in Anlehnung an die legendären Douglas Kirkland-Fotos von Marilyn Monroe im Bett (1961); Pudriger Gourmandorientale des 21. Jahrhunderts)
• Blood Concept – XX Metro Velvet und XY Nude Wood:

„XY Nude Wood and XX Metro Velvet explore the meaning of Gender-fluid.

Identifiable by a creative decoding of the subtleties of human identity, XX and XY are the chromosomes that define sexuality, the basis that establishes what we are, man or woman. The challenging idea on the composition is to expand the limits to the extreme point, wrapping feminine notes with a masculine scent and viceversa.

XX Metro Velvet contains an extract of the queen of feminine notes, the Rose, prisoner in a composition with masculine base. An opening of Orange and Saffron slides slowly in favour of Incense, Immortelle, Lily of the Valley and Rose extract, closing with an intense ensemble of Patchouli, Guaiacum wood, Styrax and Vanilla.

XY Nude Wood returns to Cedar and Vetiver, two of the most iconic and elegant masculine notes ever used in a perfume. A decisive lash of woods that gently blends into smooth notes of Cedar flowers, Coconut flowers, and Cinnamon. An androgynous heart of Leather, Tonka beans and Lily of the Valley, and a narcotic cage of Nagarmotha, Sandal, Cedar, Vetiver, Labdanum and Benzoin.

The two fragrances will be out in the first days of November 2016.“

Sehr gefreut habe ich mich, Marina Sersale und Sebastián Alvarez Murena wiederzutreffen, das Ehepaar hinter Eau d’Italie sowie Altaia und Inhaber eines wahren Sehnsuchtsortes, des Hotels Le Sirenuse in Positano. Erwartet man hier … Snobs oder sonstwie Abgehobene, ist man ganz falsch bei den beiden: Warmherzig, freundlich und bodenständig sind sie, sehr gebildet und dem Understatement verpflichtet. Sebastián hat mir nochmals persönlich die Geschichte zu ihrer Linie Altaia erzählt, die Harmen bereits einmal dargelegt hatte, hier nachzulesen. Ich finde sie unglaublich romantisch, zumal es keine erfundene PR-Story ist.

Mit Altaia hat das Paar soeben seinen vierten Duft lanciert, der auf den Namen Ombú hört:

Die Begegnung mit dem Team von Santi Burgas war toll: Santiago ist ein durch und durch liebenswerter Zeitgenosse, sein Team machte einen überaus sympathischen und offenen, vor allem aber auch freundschaftlichen Eindruck. Die Frau neben mir, deren Name mir leider entfallen ist, sprach das beste Englisch und war so warmherzig und freundlich, eine wirklich schöne Erfahrung. Vor allem, weil die neue Duftkollektion dem in nichts nachsteht: Das Layering-Konzept der früheren Düfte hat man nicht mehr aufgegriffen, dafür eine komplett neue Linie auf die Füße gestellt, die sowohl durch das Packaging als auch den Inhalt der Flaschen überzeugt.

Die White Collection besteht aus sechs Düften:

1. ÔIKB: Eau International Klein Blue. Your blue color is my blue scent. “At first there is nothing, Then there is a profound nothingness, After that a blue profundity.” Yves Klein. Die Ingredienzen: Lavendel, Iris, schwarzer Pfeffer, Muskat, Zedernholz, Leder, Tonkabohne und Pierre d’Afrique/Hyraceum. (Was Hyraceum angeht, hilft Wiki einmal mehr weiter: „Hyraceum is the petrified and rock-like excrement composed of both urine and feces excreted by the Cape Hyrax/Rock Hyrax, (Procavia capensis), commonly referred to as the Dassie. After aging and petrifying over hundreds if not thousands of years, it is a sought-after material that has been used in both traditional South African medicine and perfumery.“)
2. Miss Betty Vair: Her profound roots portray effort and perseverance. Her tears from suffering are engraved on her face. Her attitude of dedication radiates peace. Her smile transmits joy and happiness and assures you she will never let you down. Miss Betty Vair brings you hope. Die Ingredienzen: Muskat, Patchouli, Vetiver, Eichenmoos und Moschus.
3. Egnaro: Memories of cruising the Mediterranean Coast on a hot summer day in 1992. From Valencia to Palermo, stopping at Barcelona, Marseille Genova and Napoli. Idyllic childhood memories etched in my memory and the sea was my only witness. Hours and hours standing on deck, relishing the fragrances the breeze brought to me. Die Ingredienzen: Orange, Anis, Ingwer, Bergamotte, Zibet, Sandelholz und Ambra.
4. Flaming Red: A true love! Punished in the deepest shadows of loneliness. We are obliged to remain under a bed of stones which nobody will ever dare to remove. Your presence provokes my racing heartbeat, it can only beat to the rhythm of infinite rays of pure true love. Die Ingredienzen: Bulgarische Rose, Iris, Maracuja, Oud (Laos), Ambra, Bourbon-Vanille
5. Eau Dadà: A handwritten letter, along with an old bottle of perfume, deteriorated through the passage of time, turns out to what appears to be the Eighth Manifest: “Somewhere, I can’t say where, I found a box from yesteryear, Something rather strange was there. In the box was laid to rest, The Eighth Manifest.” This fragrance, Eau Dadà, is inspired by the Eighth Manifest of Dadaism, a cultural and artistic movement which emerged in the early XXth century. Tristan Tzara, one of the founders, published seven manifests, the basic pillars of this modus vivendi, with actions that were intended to provoke, query and challenge the ‚establishment‘. Die Ingredienzen: Orangenblüte, Safran, Labdanum, Tonkabohne, Iris, Patchouli, Bourbon-Vanille, Weihrauch und Oud (Thailand)
6. Oud de Burgas: You and me alone, covered by a blanket of stars in the desert, surrounded by silence, with the sole company of the camp fire, its flickering flames lighting up a new horizon. Alone, with the hope of reaching true happiness. We know we are together, under the moon, and I can see the moonlight reflected in your eyes. Die Ingredienzen: Nelke (oder Gewürznelke, das ist aus der Übersetzung heraus nicht ganz klar, wir werden es in der bald folgenden Rezension näher betrachten), Gurjumbalsam, Nagarmotha, Zedern- und Sandelholz, Guajakholz, Iris, Suyufi Oud.

Ich freue mich schon sehr darauf, Euch die Düfte hier im Blog zu präsentieren! Einen Liebling auszumachen ist gar nicht so einfach, besonders beeindruckt haben mich aber vor allem Flaming Red und Eau Dadà.

Darüber hinaus wurde Eau Dadette präsentiert, eine Hommage an die Dada-Bewegung, die Künstlerin Juliette Roche und verkannte Künstler im Allgemeinen. Die Ingredienzen: Jasmin, bulgarische Rose, Himbeere, Ylang-Ylang, Heliotrop, Sandelholz, Weihrauch, Myrrhe, Ambra, Vetiver, Bourbon-Vanille und Moschus.

„Eau Dadette is our first attar perfume, without alcohol. Eau Dadà is more masculine and Eau Dadette is more feminine. It is dedicated to Juliette Roche, a French painter and writer associated with members of the Dadaism movement. Even if her work and writings are unknown to many of us, they are full of wisdom. The fragrance is a tribute to the work of all those unnoticed artists, writers and people in general whose work has not come out.“

Mit diesem hübschen Schnappschuss, der, ich glaube von der Mutter von Santiago gemacht wurde, schließe ich für heute – freut Euch auf den letzten Teil zur Pitti morgen sowie die Highlights am Freitag!
