Pantamolle brings a piece of Italy to us. The fashion label founded by brothers Francesco and Piergiacomo Sigalini is colorful, flamboyant, and eccentric, while exuding that unmistakable Italian zest for life. Everything seems carefree; everything seems possible. Yet the Sigalini brothers’ fashion is inspired by a pattern that, at first glance, doesn’t sound Italian at all: paisley.
The story of Pantamolle begins in Dello, a small village in northern Italy. Fewer than 6,000 people live here. The expansive landscape of the Po Valley is characterised by agriculture. It was here that the Sigalini brothers grew up, and they remain deeply rooted here to this day. Their father brought back fabrics with paisley patterns from his travels to India, unwittingly laying the foundations for Pantamolle. The striking pattern remained etched in the brothers’ memories until, years later, they realised their dream of launching their own fashion label. Since then, they have been creating colourful, vividly patterned garments, each of which makes a bold statement. I am now all the more eager to see whether the fragrances succeed in capturing this expressiveness just as convincingly.

Life is Life – More Than Just a Way of Life
With Life is Life, Pantamolle transports you to the Mediterranean coast, where the sea glistens, citrus fruits ripen in the sun, and every day feels a little more carefree. Perfumer David Chieze drew inspiration from a summer day on the Mediterranean and created an olfactory homage to those moments when freedom and serenity seem completely natural.
Top notes: Bergamot, mandarin, salty notes, gin
Middle notes: Maritime notes
Base notes: Ambergris

Refreshing and lively, Life is Life opens with distinct notes of gin. Tart citrus fruits meet a salty, maritime breeze, immediately evoking a summer day on the Mediterranean. The slightly woody, subtly bitter facets of the gin are rendered with remarkable authenticity, lending the composition a pleasantly dry freshness. As the scent unfolds, it becomes softer and smoother. Amber adds a subtle, warm note and harmoniously rounds out the fragrance. Life is Life is an airy, uncomplicated summer fragrance that stays close to the skin. The composition feels pleasantly subtle and transparent and is perfect for anyone who enjoys maritime citrus scents with a dry gin note.
Dreams for Dreamers – From Dream to Reality
Dreams for Dreamers seems tailor-made for the story of Pantamolle itself. After all, Francesco and Piergiacomo Sigalini also once made their dream of starting their own fashion label a reality. Perfumer Sidonie Grandperret takes up this idea and translates it into a modern, woody composition that reflects a sense of new beginnings, confidence, and the joy of bringing one’s own ideas to life.
Top notes: Grapefruit, pink pepper, leaves, mineral notes
Middle notes: Agarwood (oud), patchouli, labdanum (rockrose), leather, ambergris
Base notes: Vetiver, sandalwood, musk, moss

Citrus, spicy, and mineral notes open Dreams for Dreamers with a crisp, cool freshness. Aromatic green accents underscore the composition’s transparent character, which has an almost maritime quality for much of its duration. Gradually, subtle earthy-woody and soft leathery facets emerge, lending the fragrance more depth before the perfume fades into a soft, warm finish. Throughout, Dreams for Dreamers remains airy and infused with an almost molecular freshness. A modern, Mediterranean-inspired creation that is pleasantly uncomplicated and wonderfully wearable.
Keep on Chasing – Never Give Up
With Keep on Chasing, Pantamolle captures the special atmosphere of an Italian summer evening. As the heat of the day slowly subsides, the light softens, and the night is still full of possibilities – that is precisely the moment perfumer David Chieze sought to capture in this creation. A fragrance that blends sunny freshness, gentle warmth, and the anticipation of all that is yet to come.
Top notes: Bergamot, lemon, mandarin
Middle notes: Ylang-ylang, rose, black currant, lily of the valley, coffee, coconut, sesame
Base notes: Patchouli, musk, toffee, sandalwood
Keep on Chasing opens with a very sweet, fruity scent and a smooth, soft toffee note. The coffee adds subtly tart, almost cocoa-like facets and underscores the gourmand character of the composition, while the coconut adds delicate tropical accents. Milky ylang-ylang, fresh rose, and creamy, light lily of the valley provide gentle floral nuances that are harmoniously balanced by crystalline, powdery musk as well as smooth patchouli and sandalwood. Keep on Chasing is the most gourmand and, at the same time, the sweetest fragrance in the collection, yet it never feels heavy or overloaded. Despite its creamy notes of toffee, coconut, and coffee, the composition remains pleasantly airy and transparent. Uncomplicated, modern, and with moderate to good longevity, it’s a perfect match for balmy summer evenings.
