New at Aus Liebe zum Duft: Paradis Des Sens

A new brand has recently been added to the Aus Liebe zum Duft portfolio: Paradis Des Sens. The Paradise of the Senses is currently represented in our store with eight fragrances, spread across four different collections: Universal Sensations, Forbidden Sensations, Awakening Sensations, and Golden Sensations. Their names alone reveal what Paradis Des Sens is all about: sensations, emotions, and those special moments that a fragrance can evoke.

We founded Paradis Des Sens for one reason alone: because scents are the quickest way to change how life feels. We don’t believe in perfect places. We believe in moments that feel unreal. Sensation is our language—the feeling you experience even before you understand it. Paradise isn’t promised. It happens—the moment your senses take control.

Universal Sensations – Fragrances for Every Day

For Paradis Des Sens, one question takes center stage: How do I want to feel today? This niche fragrance brand views its creations as olfactory moods that can be worn according to one’s whim. Sensations, atmosphere, and the individual effect of a perfume are the primary focus. The Universal Sensations Collection represents the more approachable side of the brand’s portfolio. The fragrances in this line are designed to be soft, clear, bright, and warm – easily accessible and seamlessly integrated into everyday life. Today, we’ll take a closer look at two of these compositions: Felicity and Utopia.

Felicity – The Scent of Bliss

Felicity means something like happiness or bliss. Paradis Des Sens does not translate this feeling into exuberant euphoria. Rather, the fragrance is meant to embody a quiet, inner form of happiness: contentment, serenity, and a certain sense of poise. The brand itself describes the olfactory experience of Felicity as quiet joy, serene calm, and constant encouragement.

Top notes: tobacco leaves, juniper, bergamot, cardamom
Middle notes: musk, sage
Base notes: leather, sandalwood, tea

Felicity opens with a tart and spicy scent profile thanks to fresh cardamom, sparkling-woody juniper, and green, zesty bergamot, accompanied by the aromatic, sharp herbal notes of sage. From the very beginning, the fragrance feels very clear, transparent, and invigorating. The musk brings a mineral-like powderiness to the scent that reminds me of talcum powder, while the flowing notes of tea gradually unfold. Not black tea, not chai tea, but light, greenish-aquatic nuances that are more reminiscent of a delicate green tea. Light suede and velvety sandalwood subtly blend into the composition and gently merge with the other ingredients.

Felicity is a subtle, understated eau de parfum that feels intimate and evocative on the skin. To me, the fragrance has a silvery shimmer—clear and airy, yet with a certain depth. I’d rate its sillage as light to medium, and it has good longevity. An uncomplicated and beautiful creation that feels incredibly pleasant on the skin. Suitable for any occasion and any season, Felicity is an ideal companion for anyone who prefers delicate, calm, and contemplative fragrances.

Utopia – The Scent of a Perfect World

The very name Utopia evokes the image of an ideal, perfect world that may exist only in our imagination. For this fragrance as well, Paradis Des Sens has created an olfactory experience characterized by the keywords white radiance, silky tranquility, and ideal softness. It is intended to be a creation that is “elegant, luminous, and quietly indulgent,” and the fragrance notes already give a hint of the direction this eau de parfum takes.

Top notes: bergamot, mandarin, ylang-ylang
Middle notes: jasmine, neroli, orange blossom, rose
Base notes: patchouli, sandalwood, iris, musk, vanilla

Characterized at the outset by a brief burst of refreshing Hesperides notes, Utopia soon reveals a sensual and beguiling bouquet of white flowers and similar floral notes. These notes do not merely meet in secret within the fragrance; rather, they celebrate a lavish feast. Light, lucid, creamy, milky, with delicate notes of dough and an enveloping powderiness, this Eau de Parfum is a soft-as-cotton floral dream that is exceptionally cohesive and, despite its expressiveness, harmoniously balanced. As the scent unfolds, it becomes molecular and airy, as gentle musk meets creamy iris and subtle woody notes.

Utopia is all about flowers of every kind. A unique fragrance that feels classic yet modern– airy, transparent, and utterly captivating. This is no contradiction, as contemporary floral compositions are no longer automatically characterized by heaviness and opulence. Utopia opens with a strong presence but quickly becomes lighter, softer, and closer to the skin. A beautiful, modern floral fragrance for anyone who loves floral, airy, yet expressive scents.
