A fragrance like a painting … that’s how Policromia by Bois 1920 feels. Sometimes it’s not colors, but fragrances that tell the story of a life in all its facets. Policromia is just such an eau de parfum, sensual, lively, almost like art on the skin. The name itself sounds like a poem and its character reveals itself in exactly the same way. It is a tribute to creativity, to freedom, to the imagination in all its dazzling colors.
Artistic Collection – Olfactory works of art
The creation comes from the Artistic Collection by Bois 1920, a fragrance line that sees perfume not just as a product, but as an expression of art and individuality. No mass production, no fleeting trends. Instead, freely composed fragrances are created here that tell their very own story. Policromia is one of these works. Bold, multi-layered, of multi-faceted beauty.
The House of Bois 1920 itself has a history that is almost as poetic as its creations. It all began in 1920, when Guido Galardi collected lavender in the hills around Florence and developed his first fragrance recipes. Decades later, it was his grandson who brought this dream back to life. With a deep passion for the finest raw materials, traditional craftsmanship and the courage to reinterpret and rethink old recipes, he allowed the family heritage to blossom anew.
Policromia – A fragrance like a painting
Policromia now carries a piece of this history within it. A touch of Florentine elegance combined with artistic aesthetics. The eau de parfum celebrates the colorful, the diverse and shows that true beauty often lies where you don’t expect it. Like a painting of fragrance that unfolds directly on the skin. The creation uses the ingredients raspberry, mandarin, pink pepper, jasmine, orchid, salty notes, tuberose, ambergris, musk, sandalwood and vanilla.
The opening of Policromia is bursting with energy. Tangy, tart citrus notes meet the sweet and sour fruitiness of ripe raspberries. Pink pepper adds a dry, finely dosed spiciness that lends the fruity duo an exciting depth. Shortly afterwards, salty nuances are added, subtle and restrained, but with a gentle sea breeze that evokes gentle maritime associations. These are joined by delicate, airy floral notes, creamy and light, which combine wonderfully with the salty freshness. A subtle interplay is created between effervescence and softness, fruit and blossom. The whole is rounded off by crystalline, warm and sweetly gentle accents that give the fragrance a harmonious finish.
Policromia is a multi-faceted creation, citrusy, spicy, salty-maritime and floral at the same time. And yet nothing in the composition seems overloaded. The eau de parfum creeps almost silently but effectively into the heart. A gentle, summery companion with a pleasant presence and solid longevity. Ideal for warm days and anyone who loves floral fruit fragrances with an aquatic-maritime finish.
