Some fragrances not only awaken the senses, but also evoke images. They tell stories, revive memories and draw us into a world beyond the visible. Blindfold, the new eau de parfum from L’Objet, already carries this olfactory experience in its name, as the word means “blind”, “blindfolded” or “blindfolded” in German. It is intended as an olfactory invitation to surrender completely to one’s own perception, without the sense of sight as a compass. Together with the Mamounia No. 28 scented candle, inspired by the blooming gardens of Marrakech, L’Objet proves once again that true luxury is not synonymous with opulence and a loud presence – but with depth, sophistication and a sense of poetry.
L’Objet in the fragrance diary
L’Objet has already been the subject of several articles on our fragrance blog. The luxurious brand, known for aesthetically designed fragrances, candles and exclusive home and tableware, combines craftsmanship with olfactory sophistication. So far, I have only presented the label’s perfumes here. I will link you to a selection of these reviews below:

Blindfold – With closed eyes
Blindfold is a fragrance like a touch with closed eyes – delicate, intimate and mysterious. It transports you to a world in which the invisible becomes perceptible and the imagination takes over. What remains is the play of the senses: the scent of the sheets in the morning, the echo of an unforgettable night, fleeting images of closeness and pleasure. An olfactory head cinema that unfolds a deep effect with soft sounds. Blindfold is intended for all those who not only want to smell a fragrance, but also feel it. French perfumer Yann Vasnier combined the ingredients musk, tonka bean, suede and civet for the eau de parfum.
Blindfold reveals itself from the very first moment as a soft, powdery fragrance with a balsamic-animalic depth – sensual, seductive and carried by a gentle suede note. The leather is supple and almost flowing, finely underpinned by crystalline musk and the delicately vanilla-like, slightly green facets of tonka bean. Overall, the composition is rather dark, warm and mysterious, with a subtle, almost reserved eroticism that envelops the skin like an olfactory embrace.
For anyone who loves velvety, powdery-creamy and pleasantly unagitated suede fragrances, this eau de parfum definitely belongs on the must-try list. I was already impressed by L’Objet with Oh Mon Dieu! and Blindfold is also right up my street. Elegant, seductive, finely balanced and harmoniously composed, it is a fragrance that immediately touches and seduces with its warm, cozy nature. Despite the animalistic nuances, it is never overpowering, but always remains gentle and stylish. An ideal companion for every day – and every night.
Mamounia No. 28 – Moroccan rose dream
The scented candle Mamounia No. 28 by L’Objet is an olfactory homage to Marrakech – more precisely to La Mamouniathe legendary luxury hotel that has been welcoming artists, writers and statesmen to its magnificent gardens since the 1920s. The name of the hotel goes back to the gardens of Prince Moulay Mamoun, the son of Sultan Mohammed III, who received them as a wedding gift in the 18th century. The gardens of Mamounia still form the green heart of the complex today: an oasis of palm trees, olive and orange trees and fragrant roses. It is precisely these notes, the lush flora of the gardens, that the Mamounia No. 28 scented candle picks up on and combines Spearmint, May rose, Moroccan rose, geranium, orange blossom, leather, ambergris and Honey.
Mamounia No. 28 exudes a wonderfully spring-like fragrance of refreshing spearmint, delicate, nectar-sweet roses and fruity orange blossom. Airy, floral and with a pleasant, unobtrusive sweetness, this scented candle is perfect for the warmer months of the year. It adds lightness, optimism and a touch of romance to rooms. Mamounia No. 28 is also visually impressive across the board: the solid brass lid with decorative circular relief has a sophisticated, high-quality look, as does the candle holder itself. Simple, heavy and with a matt, slightly roughened surface, it blends stylishly and elegantly into any interior – an aesthetic eye-catcher that nevertheless remains discreet.
As has often been the case, L’Objet is right up my street and shows that true luxury doesn’t have to be loud or overloaded. Mamounia No. 28 is ideal for anyone who loves floral, fresh and transparent room fragrances with a subtle presence, restrained but expressive. A new favorite for me that will certainly give me a lot of room fragrance pleasure this summer. Simply wonderful!
