Three new fragrances have recently been added to the portfolio of the niche fragrance label House of Fanatics. Jasmine Glitch, Punk Code, and Sweet Error together make up the 404://ALCHEMY.FOUND Collection—a name that sounds as futuristic as it is cryptic. But anyone who thinks the brand stands out solely for that reason hasn’t seen the bottles yet. Their extravagant design is likely to elicit looks of disbelief—and perhaps even a small smile—from many at first glance. After all, the design certainly evokes associations that were probably not chosen entirely by chance.

Jasmine Glitch – The Sound of Flowers
Jasmine Glitch is no mistake in House of Fanatics’ system. While a glitch usually refers to a brief digital malfunction or unexpected error, the fragrance turns this concept into its very own signature. Instead of a rich, opulent jasmine, it offers a contemporary interpretation of the iconic white flower – lighter, airier and more transparent than you might expect.
Top notes: Bergamot, Black Pepper
; Middle notes: Jasmine, Iris, Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang
; Base notes: Vetiver, Atlas Cedarwood
Jasmine Glitch opens with a crisp, dry scent thanks to tart bergamot and sharp pepper, closely followed by a bouquet of various enchanting flowers. The floral notes are light, creamy, and powdery—silvery and shimmering, milky, almost weightless. The flowers are distinctly perceptible and present, yet come across as exceptionally modern and airy. Clean cedarwood and subtly earthy, cool vetiver join the composition in the base notes, allowing the fragrance to fade away very gradually. An Eau de Parfum with medium to strong sillage, it’s better suited for the evening or a night out than for the office.
Punk Code – Rebellion Wrapped in Softness
Punk Code is an intriguing name, as it combines two concepts that could hardly be more contrasting. Punk is associated with rebellion and non-conformity, whilst a ‘code’ stands for order and clear structures. Do these contrasts also find their way into the fragrance? That is precisely what we’re going to take a closer look at now.
Top notes: Mandarin, pink pepper
; Middle notes: Iris
; Base notes: Cashmeran, musk
Punk Code opens with a crisp, fresh scent profile. Mandarin and pink pepper provide fruity-spicy accents that are soon enveloped by a soft, mineral-powdery iris. Cashmeran and musk join the composition early on, lending it creamy, almost weightless facets. Thus, Punk Code evolves into an airy, ethereal cloud of scent where delicate fruity sweetness meets clean creaminess. Transparent, modern, and characterized by a subtle, molecular elegance, this creation is particularly suited for those who appreciate soft, enveloping fragrances with a calm character. However, you won’t find any rebellion here. Instead, Punk Code reveals itself to be surprisingly harmonious and rather understated.
Sweet Error – Perfectly Imperfect
Sweet Error is an unusual name. After all, in everyday life, we tend to try to avoid mistakes. On the other hand, everyone probably knows those moments when what seems like a mishap turns out to be a stroke of luck in the end. A small mistake suddenly turns into something surprising—or even something better than originally planned. Perhaps House of Fanatics is tapping into exactly this idea with Sweet Error.
Top notes: Plum, raspberry, davana
; Middle notes: Rum, tolu balsam
; Base notes: Ambergris, woods
Sweet, candied fruits set the tone for Sweet Error. I detect dark plums, raspberries, and even strawberries—all thoroughly infused with rum and incredibly delicious. Soon, the smooth, vanilla-creamy notes of tolu balsam join in, lending the composition balsamic and resinous facets. As if it couldn’t get any better, ambergris and light, soft woods develop into a warm, seductive base that blends harmoniously with the liqueur-like fruits. A wonderfully cozy, delicious fragrance that’s perfect for the cooler months and is surprisingly versatile to wear.
