Pink, please! – The Pink Artist brings summer to your skin

A new brand has been catching the eye in the Aus Liebe zum Duft range for a few weeks now: with six bottles in rich pink , The Pink Artist brand is already creating a good mood visually. The color is perfect for the current season – and I’m more than excited to see how the creations will smell.

With Tropical Smoothie and Mojito, we start today into the fragrance world of the brand – two compositions that are sure to put us in a summery mood. Juicy Rose and Blushy Lips are dedicated to the classics rose and iris in the next article, while Lait d’Amande and Chocolate Noir form the conclusion and focus on gourmand, seductive facets.

Bring on the tropical smoothie!

I feel like summer and warmth. As this is still in short supply up here on the Baltic Sea, Tropical Smoothie by The Pink Artist has to provide me with sunny vibes. The eau de parfum picks up on an image that many people immediately have in mind: chilled fruit drinks, bright colors, a feeling of light-heartedness. Smoothies have long been more than just a food trend. They stand for uncomplicated enjoyment – quick, fruity and with a hint of summer feeling.

At the same time, a very familiar childhood memory resonates: Orange soda from the can, fruit juice from the carton. That soft hiss when you open it. A little artificial, a little nostalgic and it is precisely this mixture that makes it so charming.

Top notes: lime, orange
Heart notes: davana, marigold, osmanthus, carrot
Base notes: Virginia cedarwood, Texas cedarwood

Tropical Smoothie opens the fragrance with citrusy and fresh, tart nuances. At first, the creation is less exotic than expected, but all the more sparkling and summery. Gradually, herbaceous-greenish accents come to the fore, while velvety-peachy osmanthus and a sweet, powdery carrot lend the fragrance more calm and softness. I find it exciting that I notice clear ginger notes in this phase – citrusy, spicy and invigorating – although this note is not even mentioned by the brand. Tropical Smoothie also surprises in the finish: a clearly recognizable coconut facet develops on my skin, which is milky, soft and pleasantly exotic.

Tropical Smoothie is an uncomplicated, fresh fragrance that is particularly effective on warm days. Light, transparent and pleasantly fruity, it is ideal for everyday wear and leisure. Thanks to the greenish and citrus facets, the composition is never too sweet and always remains easy to wear. A fragrance for all those who like it fruity without slipping into sticky territory. Unisex and particularly beautiful when temperatures rise!

Cin Cin with Mojito by The Pink Artist

After the tropical smoothie, the ice cubes now clink in the glass. A real mojito actually comes with crushed ice, but we don’t want to be more pontifical than the Pope at this point. Traditionally, white rum, fresh mint, lime juice, cane sugar and a dash of sparkling water go into the drink. A glance at the list of ingredients for the eau de parfum of the same name quickly reveals that the fragrance composition is not quite so far removed from this.

Top notes: lemon, bergamot
Heart notes: mint, basil
Base notes: Atlas cedarwood, vetiver

Tart, tangy citrus nuances meet the authentic freshness of spearmint in the opening of Mojito. Fine notes of water underline the transparency and lightness of the composition. This citrusy-minty melange lingers for a long time before clean, minimalist woody notes of cedarwood and creamy vetiver gradually creep into the fragrance and lend it a gentle depth. Overall, however, Mojito remains straightforward, clear and light and airy.

With Mojito, The Pink Artist has implemented the cocktail inspiration in a very harmonious and pleasantly natural way. A summery-fresh, refreshing mix of tart citrus fruits and cool, green mint on a gentle, watery and clean base. Bright, transparent and ideal for hot days – especially for those who prefer unsweet, fresh compositions in the warmer months.
