Cashmere Show Pony and Bohemian Water by IGGYWOO – Olfactory daydreams

The show pony with the coconuts in its mane has already been mentioned several times in the two interview articles with IGGYWOO founder Richard Saint-Ford and today we are going to take a closer look at this phenomenon in olfactory terms. Because the hoofed animal hung with tropical fruits was the inspiration for the Cashmere Show Pony eau de parfum, visualized in Barbados under the influence of mind-expanding aids, as perfumer Richard Saint-Ford revealed to us. The bestseller from IGGYWOO is just as much a topic today as Bohemian Water, which I show you in an unboxing on our Instagram account. But more about that later.

IGGYWOO - Cashmere Show Pony

I am also linking you once again to the two interviews that I have published here in the last few days. They offer an exciting and multi-layered insight into the creative world of IGGYWOO, the visions of its founder Richard Saint-Ford and the creation and significance of his fragrance compositions. If you want to find out more about the origins of the label, its aesthetics and rebellious aspirations, this is the perfect read:

Cashmere Show Pony – Olfactory escapism

A fragrance like a daydream: Cashmere Show Pony is certainly one of the most playful creations from the IGGYWOO universe and one that immediately conjures up images in the mind with its unconventional source of inspiration. A white show pony prancing across a beach in Barbados with coconuts in her mane, accompanied by cotton candy, tropical warmth and a psychedelic undertone. Perfumer Richard Saint-Ford translates this surreal image into a composition of sugar, vanilla, frangipani, gourmand notes, coconut, white musk and cashmeran. The brand itself describes the eau de parfum as “playful, nostalgic and simply irresistible”. A fragrance that celebrates escapism and memories, merging fantasy and reality and leaving us happy and content.

IGGYWOO - Cashmere Show Pony

Cashmere Show Pony is dreamy and playful. Delicate yet present, fruity, tropical. A colorful rainbow with a soft focus. Iridescent glitter is in the air. Radiantly bright musk is reminiscent of the fine white sandy beaches of Barbados. I perceive sugary, crystalline nuances and a fine floral sweetness with fruity accents. Is that pineapple? Together with the milky-creamy coconut, the result is exotic piña colada vibes, but thanks to the molecular-modern orientation of the creation, these seem extremely imaginative, surreal, as if they were not of this world.

All fans of synthetic, gourmand, powdery-sugary creations with clear tropical vibes will be delighted with this eau de parfum by IGGYWOO. Summery, sunny, with excellent longevity and a good presence despite its transparency, Cashmere Show Pony is not so popular for nothing. A creation of contrasts that is minimalist on the one hand, but powerful and expressive on the other, in which Caribbean flair meets a fantasy world of rainbows, glitter and pink cotton candy. Wearable for any occasion in the warmer months of the year and perfect for anyone still looking for a suitable, innovative summer fragrance.

Bohemian Water – Ode to freedom

Bohemian Water is an olfactory declaration of love by IGGYWOO founder Richard Saint-Ford to one of the places where he grew up and which shaped his untamed spirit: the Californian coast with its boundless freedom. The eau de parfum combines indigenous ingredients carefully gathered from the coasts and hills of Los Angeles to create a fragrance as vibrant as the Pacific state itself. An ode to lush coastal landscapes, oceanic freedom, cool sea breezes and the unique spirit of California, Saint-Ford olfactorizes with the ingredients bergamot, lime, fleur de sel (sea salt), neroli, passion flower, fennel, floral notes, cypress, cedarwood and grass. We recently featured another fragrance on this blog, Big Sur Eucalyptus by D.S. & Durga, which revolved around the American West Coast. However, it was not the region around Los Angeles that was at the center of the creation, but the Big Sur coastal strip to the northwest.

A cool, ozonic Hesperides breeze pervades the opening of Bohemian Water, accompanied by a fine salt note that lends a special touch to the tart, acidic citrus fruits. The composition soon becomes more fruity, even if the olfactory mood does not change fundamentally. Neroli brings a gentle orange sweetness into play, which is accompanied by creamy, floral nuances. In addition, the eau de parfum reveals fresh, molecular and powdery-clean facets which, together with the fruity-citrus accents, evoke wonderfully summery freshie vibes. Splendid!

Anyone who likes aquatic, clean, molecular-powdery fragrances with a modern freshness will love Bohemian Water. The composition is light, airy, ozonic and subtly maritime thanks to the gentle salt note. It is reminiscent of freshly washed laundry, of white linen drying in the sun. Transparent and lucid, this creation from IGGYWOO has a medium presence and impresses with its good longevity. As an uncomplicated unisex fragrance, it is perfect for any situation, in everyday life and in the office, especially on warm days.
