Cherry is and remains a staple in the world of niche fragrances, even though this cheeky little red fruit has certainly faced some competition in recent years: mango<\/a>, passion fruit<\/a>, peach<\/a>, and plum<\/a> have all tried to challenge the cherry for its crown as the \u201cit\u201d fruit of the fragrance world. But the cherry isn\u2019t so easily knocked off the podium. New Notes<\/a> also demonstrates that cherry still enjoys a certain special status among fruity scents: Following the launch of Latte di Cherry<\/a> in 2023, the Italian niche fragrance label is now entering another contender featuring the red stone fruit into the olfactory race with Cherry Prosecco<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Cherry Prosecco \u2013 Cherry with a Fizzy Twist<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Boozy cherry scents are certainly no rarity in the niche perfume world. Most often, the red fruit shows its darker side: sweet, lush, liqueur-like, and often with a generous splash of rum, cognac, or amaretto thrown in. Cherry Prosecco<\/a> by New Notes is different. While there are definitely boozy vibes here as well, they come across as significantly lighter, airier, and more effervescent. Instead of heavy cherry liqueur, as the name suggests, Prosecco\u2014or champagne\u2014is poured into the glass, bringing freshness, lightness, and, of course, plenty of fizz. A cherry, then, that really makes the corks pop. <\/p>\n\n

Cherry Prosecco opens with a lively, fresh burst of typical, subtly tart champagne notes and wonderfully juicy, sweet cherries. At this point, the blend could drift into a cloying sweetness. But it doesn\u2019t. The sparkling wine\u2019s airy, transparent accents provide a refreshing lightness, which is gradually joined by bright, creamy floral notes. Even these do not weigh the composition down with opulent heaviness; rather, despite their beguiling floral facets, they remain well-balanced throughout, creating a smooth, comforting atmosphere in which the sweet cherries seem all too at home. Gradually, powdery, crystalline musk notes and cotton-soft amber are added, lending the composition warmth and a wonderfully airy softness. <\/p>\n\n

Cherry Prosecco by New Notes is a beautiful, creamy, light cherry fragrance with a tangy champagne fizz that blends floral, fruity, and sweet notes in a wonderfully light way. Despite its lightness, it offers enough warmth and creaminess to make it a perfect fit for the cooler months. <\/p>\n\n
