We have an exciting new brand in the range from Aus Liebe zum Duft<\/a>, namely Notes de Bas de Paje<\/a>. The brand is young – founded in 2023 by Alice Gensse and Pierre-Junior Menana. Both come from France, she from the Basque Country, he from Paris. Both have a professional background that is not at all reminiscent of perfumes and niche fragrances: they are lawyers. But they swapped their black robes for the world of fragrances soon after graduating. With Notes de Bas de Paje, they have created their joint label, which is dedicated to the footnotes of life.<\/p>\n\n\n

Notes de Bas de Paje – Fragrances and literature<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Notes de Bas de Paje combines the world of literature with haute perfumery in a very special way. The fragrances are not inspired by the works of famous writers, but by life itself and its footnotes, which are always worth reading. Because they often give stories a completely different depth and meaning. The connections become clearer, the context increases, familiarity grows. Footnotes are often simply read over and ignored, even though they can help us to see things more clearly. In books as in life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The love of books cannot be denied with Notes de Bas de Paje. The packaging is designed like a book and is therefore an important part of the fragrance experience. While with other labels the flacons are more of a collector’s item, with the French brand even the packaging is worth collecting. The visual concept is already so strong that I can’t wait to see how the creations turn out olfactorily. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Original Collection comprises three fragrances: the first chapter Prol\u00e9gom\u00e8nes, the second chapter Olatua and the third chapter Tow\u00e9d\u00e9. With Carambolage, the brand is adding another chapter to the story. All creations are inspired by memories, encounters and turning points in life, which make each fragrance a part of one’s own story. <\/p>\n\n\n

Prol\u00e9gom\u00e8nes – A fragrance like a new beginning<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A Parisian spring morning. Fresh air, invigorating coolness, the first greenery appearing. The sun warms the city and gently tickles the skin. There is a special feeling in the air, a faint sense that something new is beginning. A new beginning, a change – of seasons, of life. Nature is regaining its strength and our view of things is changing with it. With spring, our mood rises, we become more optimistic and move our lives outdoors more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prol\u00e9gom\u00e8nes<\/a> by Notes de Bas de Paje captures precisely this feeling. The first chapter was created by perfumer Am\u00e9lie Bourgeois, who we already know from creations such as Rouge Smoking<\/a> by bdk Parfums<\/a>, Mr. Vetiver<\/a> by Une Nuit Nomade<\/a>, Sin & Pleasure<\/a> by BORNTOSTANDOUT<\/a> or C\u00e8dre Superfluide<\/a> by Les Eaux Primordiales<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
