At the end of September, I was once again a guest at a fragrance event in Hamburg – this time it was all about the renowned brand Initio Parfums Priv\u00e9s<\/a> and its newly launched creation Can’t get Enough<\/a>, which I was able to test exclusively in advance. More than a hundred guests from the perfume industry in and around Hamburg were invited to enjoy not only culinary delights in the elegant premises of the GAGA Club<\/a> in St. Pauli, but also to gain an in-depth insight into the fascinating world of fragrances from Initio Parfums Priv\u00e9s. <\/p>\n

The fragrant world of Initio Parfums Priv\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

We took the elevator up to the location, which was really stunning. A fantastic roof terrace was the first highlight, where we were able to enjoy the sunset. We then went into the club itself and the evening began under the sign of Initio Parfums Priv\u00e9s. Quentin Dubois had arrived from the brand, who began by telling us about the fragrance house itself and its special features. <\/p>\n\n

The creations of Initio Parfum Priv\u00e9s are – according to him – so-called functional fragrances<\/em>, which should enable the wearer to feel the way they want to feel and become the person they want to be. Like an active, stimulating force that has a direct effect on body and mind. The fragrances are therefore much more than “just” perfume for the label. <\/p>\n\n

What distinguishes Initio’s functional fragrances<\/em> are special fragrance molecules that are said to have an activating, emotional effect on our brain. They are designed to boost self-confidence, increase well-being or evoke an extra dose of seduction. And so the brand does not simply call its lines collections, but Emotional Territories<\/em>, because each line has a specific function that is linked to an emotion. <\/p>\n

Carnal Blends – Can’t get Enough of Hedione<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The stimulating fragrance molecule in the Carnal Blends Collection is Hedion, which exudes a transparent, greenish-floral jasmine scent and has a pheromone-like effect. Neuroscientific research has shown that hedione activates special receptors in the human brain that are associated with social perception and attraction. In chemical terms, hedione is methyldihydrojasmonate<\/em>, a synthetic fragrance discovered by Firmenich in 1962 and first used by Edmond Roudnitska in Dior Eau Sauvage<\/em> in 1966. <\/p>\n\n

The scent of Hedion is airy, floral and radiant. It is reminiscent of jasmine blossoms in the sunlight, but without their natural olfactory heaviness. In Can’t get Enough<\/g> by Initio Parfums Priv\u00e9s<\/g>, Hedion is at the center of the composition: as an invisible force that creates closeness and attraction and awakens emotions. As in the entire Carnal Blends Collection – which also includes Side Effect<\/a>, Narcotic Delight<\/a>, Atomic Rose<\/a>, Psychedelic Love<\/a> and High Frequency<\/a> – the stimulating fragrance is also overdosed in the latest creation in order to maximize its effect. <\/p>\n\n

And so Can’t get Enough combines the ingredients rose, pink pepper, hedione, caramel<\/strong> and vanilla<\/strong> to create a composition that heralds a new level of seduction and attraction – an olfactory obsession. A fragrance that celebrates the sweet side of desire and bathes the sensual power of Hedion in a modern gourmand light. <\/p>\n

What does Can’t get Enough by Initio Parfums Priv\u00e9s smell like?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Bright, airy and radiant, Can’t Get Enough opens with light-flooded, floral notes, which are soon joined by the seductive accents of roasted sugar and spicy, sweet vanilla. The rose emphasizes the fresh lightness of the opening, but remains discreetly in the background overall. Hedione, which characterizes the composition from the outset, lends it elusive facets reminiscent of jasmine – comforting, transparent and creamy at the same time. Delicate, delicious nuances of creamy caramel and dark vanilla repeatedly appear, blending harmoniously into the olfactory structure and underlining the cozy character of Can’t Get Enough. <\/p>\n\n

Can a fragrance like Can’t get Enough be suitable for everyday use?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

That’s easy to answer: yes, definitely! The eau de parfum is perfect for everyday wear, the office, leisure and even for the evening. The composition is perfect for the cooler months of the year, when we feel like cozy, enveloping and soft creations – preferably with a wonderful, spicy-gourmand finish like Can’t Get Enough by Initio Parfums Priv\u00e9s. For me, an absolute must-try for Initio fans and anyone looking for an exceptionally seductive fragrance for the current season.\u0111h<\/p>\n\n

Can Can’t get Enough be layered with other fragrances from Initio Parfums Priv\u00e9s?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Of course! Like all Initio fragrances, Can’t Get Enough can also be wonderfully layered. Combinations with Rehab<\/a>, Side Effect<\/a> and Blessed Bakkara<\/a> are particularly exciting. This creates very different olfactory experiences – from soft and sensual to seductive and lascivious to opulent and powerful. Just as you wish and your mood – try it out for yourself! <\/p>\n\n
