Fresh, free and self-confident like a modern western heroine, the fragrance celebrates floral lightness, the wind on the open prairie and the feeling of untamed freedom. Inspired by the successful Cowboy Grass<\/a> fragrance from 2008, Cowgirl Grass is aimed at all those who love the tantalizing freshness of lovely flowers and tangy fruits – with a feminine, light and subtly rebellious note. <\/p>\n\n

D.S. & Durga<\/a>, founded by husband and wife team Kavi and David Seth Moltz, is known for its imaginative fragrance stories and idiosyncratic compositions. With this fragrant new addition to their collection, they open another chapter in the olfactory universe of their brand. Cowgirl Grass – Here’s to a triple yeehaw<\/h2>\n\n

The Wild West is no longer just at home on the big screen or in series formats. With Cowgirl Grass<\/a>, D.S. & Durga brings the boundless freedom of the prairie directly to our skin. Perfumer David Seth Moltz, a self-taught perfumer with a keen sense for the extraordinary, spices up each of his creations with a good dose of self-will, wit and urban New York flair. And because he is not only skilled with fragrances, but also with words, he provides a personal quote for each perfume that sums up his inspiration and fragrance idea. <\/p>\n\n

For Cowgirl Grass, Moltz combines bergamot, lychee, geranium, peony, jasmine, grass, vetiver, ambergris<\/strong> and musk<\/strong>, among others. Ingredients that at first glance remind me of a blooming summer field rather than the rugged romance of the Wild West. No swinging lasso, no crackling campfire, no dusty gallop. But who knows: perhaps the prairie shows its feminine, floral side in this fragrance, with glitz, glamor and a touch of flower power. In any case, I am more than excited about this new eau de parfum from New York, as D.S. & Durga have often impressed me with their creativity and fine sense of fragrance. <\/p>\n\n

A long time ago, we made a version of Cowgirl Grass based on our cult favorite Cowboy Grass. That was cool, but this time we wanted to reinvent the fragrance and bring in a lot more flower power. It starts with a juicy accord of bergamot and lychee, moves into a floral heart of peony and geranium and finally ends in sweet musk and amber. It feels very Western, in a modern, offbeat way, like a classic cowgirl belt adorned with jewels. – D.S. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Cowgirl Grass starts with a wonderfully fresh, tangy and tart opening. The sweet and sour lychee, with its almost rhubarb-like tanginess, meets the delicate, aquatic and airy nuances of peony. Together they conjure up a wonderfully light, sun-drenched fragrance. It is reminiscent of spring days, clear air, gentle rays of sunshine and a salty sea breeze in the distance. Green accents interweave with powdery, light notes, underpinned by a delicate hint of earthiness and a creamy softness. This fresh, floral-fruity lightness remains in the fragrance until the end, before fading away very gently. <\/p>\n\n

Cowgirl Grass by D.S. & Durga is like a walk through a blooming spring field – lively, modern and wonderfully transparent.
