This picturesque village, with its colorful houses, sits in a bay on a peninsula, surrounded by azure blue waters. Once a humble fishing village, Portofino has long been a hotspot for celebrities, stars, and socialites who anchor their yachts just off the coast. Especially in summer, Portofino is a popular destination for tourists from around the world and, despite its rather poor transport connections, often becomes overwhelmingly crowded.<\/p>\n\n\n

Of course, the four fragrances in the Perris Portofino Collection leave no trace of this. In Riviera<\/a>, Bel Sole<\/a>, Fiori di Mare<\/a> and Blu Profondo are the illustrious names of the compositions that the Perris Monte Carlo brand dedicates to the Ligurian coastal town and its impressive landscape. They were all created by the Italian perfumer Luca Maffei, who was inspired by the picturesque scenery and the special scents and aromas of the place. In addition to the eaux de parfum, the line also includes scented candles<\/a> and diffusers<\/a> as well as a skincare range<\/a> with the scents of Blu Profondo and Fiori di Mare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though it’s still really cold here on the Baltic Sea and spring is still a long way off, the new Perris Portofino Collection will hopefully bring a little warmth and vacation feeling to the north. Luca Maffei walked up the hill to the Castello San Giorgio, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the bay and the harbor of Portofino. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scent of the sea and the lush vegetation were just as inspiring to him as the play of light and shadow that divided the walkway and the surroundings into light and dark.
