In today’s fourth and, for the time being, last article, I would like to present a few new fragrances and new brands that we discovered at Esxence and that looked exciting to us. I already told you about BLDRGRPHY in my first article Esxence 2025 – Milan, here we come<\/a>, but today I’m going to present a few more new discoveries on our part. On the second day of the fair, we were joined by Georg Oelschl\u00e4gel, Managing Director of Aus Liebe zum Duft<\/a> and N\u00e4gele & Strubell<\/a>, with whom we spent a really nice day at Esxence and an entertaining evening. <\/p>\n

On safari with Estoras<\/h2>\n\n

One brand that we find totally exciting is Estoras. The founder of the niche fragrance label is Paul-Anton Esterh\u00e1zy, who belongs to the famous Esterh\u00e1zy dynasty – an influential aristocratic family whose origins date back to the 13th century. He dedicated the Estoras brand to his grandfather Antal (1903-1944). Although he was never able to meet him personally, his stories and adventures have fascinated him (and many others) from an early age. <\/p>\n\n

Prince Antal Esterh\u00e1zy was an explorer, an adventurer who sought challenges and did not shy away from them. Together with his friend Ladislaus Alm\u00e1sy – who later became known as “The English Patient” – he undertook expeditions to the Sahara in the mid-1920s. An absolutely captivating and fascinating background story to this still young fragrance house, whose trade fair stand was also visually all about adventurism. The Estoras collection comprises four fragrances, including Antal, Port of Alexandria and Shadows of Giza. All four are inspired by Africa, grandfather’s expeditions and adventures. <\/p>\n\n

Linari scents cars<\/h2>\n\n

The Linari<\/a> home fragrance brand has been an integral part of our range at Aus Liebe zum Duft<\/a> for many years and impresses with beautifully designed diffusers and scented candles that are visually and olfactorily really great. Linari is now also launching its room fragrances as car fragrances. The visually very elegant diffusers are available in shiny silver or matt black and are reminiscent of car rims. <\/p>\n

They are lightweight, of very high quality and stable and can be easily and securely attached to the air vents in the car. They emit a very pleasant and gentle fragrance, the intensity of which can be easily adjusted via the air conditioning or heating settings. There are currently eight different variants to choose from, which are also available as room fragrances, such as Ebano<\/a>, Sfera<\/a>, Oceano<\/a>, Rubino<\/a> or Cielo<\/a>. We really liked the car fragrances and will certainly be reporting on them again. <\/p>\n\n

Filthy Brands shows new fragrances and new brands<\/h2>\n\n

At the Filthy Brands stand, Francesca and a colleague showed us two exciting brands, ODE ONA<\/a> and MAYA NJIE<\/a>. Both labels totally surprised and delighted us with their creations. The ODE ONA collection impresses with its transparent, minimalist fragrances. Moonkissed Rhapsody, for example, has wonderful lavender notes, while Teapot Sonder has powdery-creamy and slightly metallic black tea notes that are incredibly calm, relaxed and meditative. The other eaux de parfum were also very coherent and harmoniously composed. <\/p>\n\n

MAYA NJIE was created by Maya Njie, who was born in Sweden and has Gambian roots. Her creations are inspired by memories, her family, her childhood in Sweden and visits to Africa, resulting in an exciting, multi-faceted collection. From the woody, minimalist Nordic Cedar, with its wonderful coniferous nuances, to the honeyed, aromatic and comforting Tobac, reminiscent of the smell of a grandfather smoking a cigar, to the tropical pineapple-coconut delicacy Tropica … all the creations tested were beautiful without exception. <\/p>\n

Reinvented launches delicacies<\/h2>\n\n

The label Reinvented Parfums<\/a> has already been presented on this blog in the articles The collection of Reinvented Parfums – Epiphany and Eureka<\/a> and Illusion, Sacred Bond and Pheromones by Reinvented Parfums<\/a>. New fragrances will be added soon: Lucid Dream will be launched in the summer, which I thought was absolutely beautiful. <\/p>\n\n

Wonderfully liqueur-like plum notes and beguiling saffron meet warm, balsamic woods, creamy flowers and wild leathery accents, resulting in an incredibly great, seductive creation that was exactly to my taste.<\/p>\n\n

Enigmatic Aura will also be launched in the coming months, an earthy-woody, spicy-dry mix with notes of saffron, jatamansi, nagarmotha, woods, others. and much more. A completely different caliber than Lucid Dream, but this extrait de parfum is also designed to be really beautiful and balanced. <\/p>\n

Versatile focuses on fruit<\/h2>\n\n

The French niche fragrance house Versatile<\/a> is spoiling us with three new eaux de parfum that pick up on the ever-popular fruit theme: presser le citron is a refreshing, tangy lemon fragrance, bonne poire exudes juicy, green and delicious pear nuances and cerise sur le g\u00e2teau is the olfactory cherry on the cake. Ideal for the coming summer months and all those who love wonderfully fruity fragrances. <\/p>\n\n

As always, all three are available as a handy roll-on and in such a practical format that they will fit in any handbag. An incredibly likeable and cheerful brand with beautiful creations that, in my opinion, deserves much more attention. <\/p>\n\n

Lesquendieu feels quite rosy<\/h2>\n\n

J\u00e9r\u00f4me Lesquendieu’s Lesquendieu<\/a> brand will also be launching new fragrances soon: Rosa Centifolia, in the label’s typical bottle with a pink label, is all about the rose, or more precisely the centifolia, whose lovely, honey-like floral scent is translated into the eau de parfum in a very authentic, transparent-floral and yet present way. Perfect for anyone who loves finely composed and modern rose fragrances. <\/p>\n

27 87 Perfumes goes bananas<\/h2>\n\n

The Spanish-German brand 27 87 Perfumes<\/a> by Romy Kowalewski was out and about at the trade fair with a special promo. Two employees were walking around with an oversized 27 87 newspaper and an XXXXL bag with the label’s logo, which was a real eye-catcher. It was a great and very likeable campaign by Romy, who I was finally able to meet in person at the stand after we had only been in contact via email and Zoom. <\/p>\n\n

The latest fragrance from 27 87 Perfumes has the cheerful name Hakuna Matata, which immediately makes me think of the Jungle Book. Translated, it means “no worries” and the creation is exactly the same. A fruity, radiant composition with a highly unusual fragrance note, namely banana. <\/p>\n\n

We knew roughly what to expect, but we were still surprised, amazed and irritated when we first sniffed Hakuna Matata. The banana is already very present in the eau de parfum and also a little shrill, but soon becomes softer and calmer. An unusual and incredibly innovative composition that is wonderfully summery and cheerful. <\/p>\n

Ella K has a new boyfriend<\/h2>\n\n

Of course I’m talking about a new fragrance, that should be clear, shouldn’t it? Amber K is the name of the composition, which … I don’t need to give much away, revolves around ambery notes, ambergris accentuated with subtle nuances of cocoa and tobacco. A warm, balsamic-lovely fragrance with fruity-boozy facets. <\/p>\n\n

I’m already a big fan of Musc K and Amber K could be just the thing for me. Incidentally, as usual with Ella K<\/a>, the creation was inspired by a trip. This time, Sonia Constant went to Central America, to the Dominican Republic to be precise, and used her impressions in the newly launched eau de parfum. <\/p>\n\n

Sisology – Established in Korea, made in France<\/h2>\n\n

An exciting new brand in my eyes was Sisology, which with its transparent, chic, typically Asian-minimalist creations is right up my alley. I also really liked the packaging and the bottles, which are both visually inspired by old cameras and their packaging, as you can see below. Each fragrance was accompanied by a small card with a colorful drawing that is supposed to accompany the composition and reflect its mood. Really beautiful! <\/p>\n
