Two more letter fragrances follow today, namely R<\/a> and A<\/a> by Pantheon Roma<\/a>. In my last article, Exclusive Collection by Pantheon Roma – In the Name of Love<\/a>, I already presented the Extrait de Parfum M<\/a> and gave you some information about the brand itself, which was inspired by a love story in Italy during the High Renaissance. <\/p>\n

\"Pantheon<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Behind the fragrance house are Paolo Fadelli, who can look back on a career in the perfume business spanning several decades, and his son Leone. Thanks in part to their father’s numerous contacts, the two can draw on an international network in the luxury fragrance sector and benefit from Paolo’s many years of experience in this field. They have a close relationship with perfumer Arturetto Landi, who is responsible for many, if not all, of the brand’s creations. <\/p>\n\n

R – Dedicated to the artist<\/h2>\n\n

After we had a fragrance dedicated to Margherita Luti in my last post with M, R is the creation that pays homage to Raphael. As we remember, the niche fragrance label travels far back in history in terms of inspiration and catapults us olfactorily into Italy’s High Renaissance. At that time, Raphael was a respected painter and master builder who had fallen madly in love with the baker’s daughter Margherita. A very special kind of love story. And so M and R are the two creations of this couple, two extraordinary fragrances full of passion and aesthetics. <\/p>\n\n

The ingredients are as lavish as Raphael’s murals: cinnamon, thyme, strawberry, rhubarb, iris, jasmine, saffron, vanilla, tolu balsam, gurjun balsam, frankincense, labdanum (cistus), myrrh, ambergris, sandalwood, eaglewood (oud), musk<\/strong> and leather<\/strong> are said to tell of “the deep power that comes from beauty”.<\/p>\n

\"Pantheon<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Spicy, fruity nuances open R in a thoroughly opulent and sumptuous manner. Wonderfully creamy, almost milky notes appear in the background right from the start, which are soft and supple. The incense brings cool, smoky accents to the composition, which are surrounded by dark, leathery oud – or dark, oudy leather? – are played around. The smokiness increases as the fragrance progresses. R becomes somewhat warmer, although I would not describe the creation as a warm fragrance per se. The extrait de parfum gradually fades away with balsamic-ambery and powdery notes. <\/p>\n\n

R is an oriental, fruity and smoky fragrance that is very complex and densely woven. Like M, R has a certain presence, intensity and expressiveness, making it particularly suitable for those who prefer opulent compositions. Nevertheless, the extrait de parfum is not overly heavy, but very balanced, rather transparent and reveals wonderfully comforting and cozy facets. If you are looking for a gentle and exciting fragrance that combines fruity-berry, smoky-resinous, woody-spicy and creamy-powdery components in an incredibly harmonious and elegant way – as you can see, there is a lot in R – you should definitely put R on your must-try list. <\/p>\n\n

A – Hymn to purity<\/h2>\n\n

Let’s now move on to the last letter in this trilogy of creations from the Exclusive Collection by Pantheon Roma. In contrast to M and R, A<\/a> already stands out visually. Instead of black and gold, the fragrance is bathed in a combination of white and gold. Thematically, the extrait de parfum also departs from the previous subject of the Renaissance lovebirds Raphael and Margherita and instead turns to harmony and purity. This is olfactorily realized in A with the ingredients pink pepper, coconut, mango, iris, orchid, jasmine, vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli, ambergris<\/strong> and musk<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\"Pantheon<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

A is indeed light, creamy and soft, which definitely establishes the link to purity and cleanliness. Pepper brings dry, spicy accents to the composition, very gently and pleasantly, while fine coconut milkiness and fruity mango exoticism add exciting facets. In my eyes, the powdery, earthy nuances of iris take center stage, combining with creamy jasmine and transparent, soft orchid to create a wonderfully cozy and cuddly blend. This spreads through the creation like a wave of comfort, lending it clean, pure nuances. Gradually, subtle, ambery, musky notes are added, creating a powdery warmth. Finally, a hint of vanilla spice skilfully rounds off the creation. <\/p>\n\n

A by Pantheon Roma is a fruity, creamy and gentle fragrance that is very soft, very cuddly and cozy. Clean, minimalist fragrances are absolutely up-to-date at the moment and often have a certain synthetic quality. I don’t notice this in Extrait de Parfum A. The molecular fluffiness often used in other compositions of this genre is absent from the creation, but the fragrance has a beautiful, expressive creaminess evoked by light flowers and milky coconut. Very elegant, modern and beautifully composed, A is an absolute delight for anyone who likes relaxed, clean and fruity-creamy fragrances for every occasion and every season. Simply wonderful! \ud83e\udd0d<\/p>\n\n
