Flower Power<\/a>, La Isla Blanca<\/a> and Sunset Caf\u00e9<\/a> are the next three eaux de parfum in the Ibiza Collection<\/a> that I would like to introduce to you today.\nOn Friday, I already presented the latest fragrance in the line in the article Ibiza Collection by Ram\u00f3n Monegal – We Celebrate All Night Long<\/a>, so today I am continuing with the three older siblings, all of which have very seductive names. <\/p>\n

Flower Power – Ibiza’s flower children<\/h2>\n\n

Ibiza has been a popular destination for hippies and dropouts since the 1960s.\nThe search for freedom, self-determination and the desire to leave social norms and constraints behind was a reason for many to move to the Balearic island and try their luck there.\nTourism on Ibiza took off in the 1970s and the island is still a popular destination for holidaymakers today.\nIn addition to families, outdoor adventurers and party enthusiasts, luxury vacationers have also discovered the island for themselves. <\/p>\n\n

And yet the magic of flower power is still in the air.\nIn addition to hip locations and trendy clubs, there are numerous hippie markets where holidaymakers can pick up a souvenir or two.\nHardly any other style of clothing and furnishings is as associated with Ibiza as boho: light, white fabrics, airy and flowing, with a hippie and ethnic touch, macram\u00e9, natural materials such as cotton, shells or rattan. <\/p>\n\n

Our first fragrance of the day is dedicated to the flower children. Flower Power<\/a> by Ram\u00f3n Monegal<\/a> has a sunny yellow look and combines notes of strawberry, red berries, pink pepper, rose, lily of the valley, iris, patchouli, styrax resin<\/strong> and vanilla<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Ramón<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Airy and fruity nuances open Flower Power, breathing a summery and sunny sweetness into the creation.\nA colorful mix of different berries combines with the dry and subtle spiciness of pepper, accompanied from the outset by the aquatic notes of lily of the valley, which evokes certain maritime associations.\nFine powdery iris joins in as the fragrance progresses, before the eau de parfum gradually fades away with milky, creamy and vanilla accents. <\/p>\n\n

Although the name suggests it, Flower Power is not a resolutely floral scent or a hippie patchouli, but a fruity-berry, powdery-transparent and sweetly floral evergreen that smells of summer, the beach and the sun. If you are looking for a pleasant and cheerful fragrance that is suitable for the office and everyday wear, I highly recommend this enchanting eau de parfum. \ud83d\udc9b<\/p>\n\n

La Isla Blanca – The white island<\/h2>\n\n

Date, blackcurrant, pine, almond blossom, heliotrope, ylang-ylang, sandalwood, incense<\/strong> and guaiac wood<\/strong> are the ingredients of La Isla Blanca<\/a>.\nWhite is the predominant color on the island, contrasting with crystal clear, turquoise water and the red earth.\nWhite is also the color that dominates Ram\u00f3n Monegal’s fragrance.\nLa Isla Blanca could therefore fit perfectly into the current range of all-white compositions that are so ubiquitous this summer. <\/p>\n

\"Ramón<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

La Isla Blanca has an incredibly sweet start to the fragrance.\nThe date is very present and lends the creation lush, honey-like nuances right from the start, into which the blackcurrant gradually creeps quietly.\nHeliotrope and almond blossom bring vanilla-creamy and floral notes to the composition, which combine very harmoniously with the still very dominant date sweetness.\nIn the base, powdery and subtly smoky woody accents ensure a soft, atmospheric finish. <\/p>\n\n

Would I award La Isla Blanca the color white if I were to test the fragrance blindly and without any background information? I am not sure. Because I wouldn’t spontaneously assign any other color to the creation, so I’ll leave this open. It is a very sweet, initially powerful eau de parfum that later becomes more airy and transparent, never overpowering, but with a good presence, especially in the opening. In the style of Ram\u00f3n Monegal and the Ibiza Collection, La Isla Blance is also composed in a very harmonious and balanced way and impresses with a carefree, summery aura that immediately casts a spell. \ud83e\udd0d<\/p>\n\n

Sunset Caf\u00e9 – coffee at sunset<\/h2>\n\n

Last, but not least: Sunset Caf\u00e9<\/a>.\nThe latest eau de parfum in Ram\u00f3n Monegal’s Ibiza Collection has an ingredient that I particularly like in fragrances and that is not used very often. The Spanish label combines coffee<\/strong> with coconut, seaweed, jasmine, rose, strawberry, oakmoss, ambergris<\/strong> and musk<\/strong> to create a fragrance that revolves around the beautiful sunsets that can be seen from the famous Caf\u00e9 del Mar.\nHundreds and thousands gather on the beach in the early evening to watch the sun go down.\nThe chilled lounge music for which the Caf\u00e9 del Mar is known beyond the borders of Ibiza plays in the background. <\/p>\n

\"Ramón<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Very airy, very relaxed and slightly maritime, Sunset Caf\u00e9 starts with the greenish-salty marine nuances of seaweed that meet milky-creamy coconut and roasted coffee beans.\nI perceive a certain coolness in the composition, which is certainly due to the maritime accords, but which fades as the fragrance progresses.\nIn contrast, the creation remains transparent.\nMusk brings powdery, mineral facets to Sunset Caf\u00e9 by Ram\u00f3n Monegal, while the creamy and sweet notes of ambergris provide warmth and comfort.\nA fruity sweetness can be perceived underneath, gently rounding off the eau de parfum. <\/p>\n\n

Sunset Caf\u00e9 is a maritime-fresh and salty-powdery fragrance that smells of summer and the beach. This eau de parfum is the perfect olfactory companion for anyone who loves subtle marine fragrances with a chilled mood, accentuated by roasted coffee beans and creamy, powdery nuances. Carefree, wonderfully summery and fresh at the same time. The ideal fragrance, and not just for Caf\u00e9 del Mar fans and chill-out music lovers! \ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n\n
